30-06, Model 1903, is an American five-round magazine fed, bolt-action service repeating rifle, used primarily during the first half of the 20th century. The real M1903 Springfield, formally the United States Rifle, Caliber.This airsoft version is of the A3 version which had the rear sight moved further along the back of the gun which increase the sight picture and improved accuracy. Press that and it will operate the safety. The rifle operates a different safety style, where the safety is the rear stock bolt. The rifle disassembles similar to an original rifle. The front band has a bayonet lug which you can mount an original bayonet to. The sights work, the butt plate cleaning trap works, it has sling swivels and a real leather (WWII style) sling. Two minor cracks which were repaired and you can barely tell it was even there. These rifles sell new for $1200 to $1400 and due to some minor damage to the wood stock behind the tang of the receiver.
We test fired the rifle and it works and is fairly accurate up to 30 feet (which is what we test fired it at). This rifle fires plastic 6mm airsoft pellets.
